BASIC to INTERMEDIATE PISTOL

Course Description

This course is for those who have completed the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Course. This course is focused on speed shooting and proper trigger control while maintaining accuracy.

Equipment List

  • Pistol
  • 3 Magazines that hold 12+ rounds
  • Full size and mid-size pistols recommended. Pistols must be equivalent in size to Glock 17 and Glock 19.
  • No Micro or pocket pistols such as Kimber Micro, Sig 365, P238, P938, HellCat, MP Shield or Glock 43.
  • Magazine holders
  • Holster. Strong side, or Appendix only. No cross-draw holsters, shoulder holsters or fanny pack holsters.
  • Shooting glasses. ANSI Z87 OSHA Approved Safety Glasses.
  • Hearing protection. Electronic Hearing protection preferred. Equivalent to Howard Leight Impact
  • Clothing and shoes for outdoor weather. No open toed shoes.
  • Baseball cap
  • Snacks and water

Prerequisite

This is a basic to intermediate level class. Students must have a CCW permit and proof of said permit before being allowed to attend class.  The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, marksmanship skills, and working from a holster.  Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.
