Instructor Bios:
YONG LEE

Yong Lee retired after 30 years of LE service from Bellevue Police (WA) in December of 2018. He has 30 years of experience as a LE Firearms Instructor and Competition Shooter. He served 11 years as a SWAT Operator and three years as a SWAT Team Leader. He is a Force Science Institute Coordinator and Master Instructor. He initiated and instituted the full deployment duty Red Dot Pistol program at Bellevue (WA) PD. He holds USPSA Grandmaster classification in five divisions including Carry Optics. He has numerous State and Regional Championship titles in USPSA/Practical Shooting including 2020 USPSA Area 1 Championship win in the Carry Optics division. He is also California POST certified “Train the Trainer” Red Dot Pistol Instructor. His “Train the Trainer” course has been adopted by CA POST.

BENNIE W. COOLIE JR.

Bennie Cooley has extensive experience in SWAT training and has cross-trained and provided professional training to specialized units within our military, federal, state and county law enforcement organizations. Bennie has served on the board of directors for the Mountain States Tactical Officers Association, and received their Excellence Award in recognition for winning back-to-back National SWAT Team Championship in Gainesville Georgia. Bennie has also received two World Class Quality Improvement Awards for his leadership and training of personnel where he is recognized for his outstanding ability to instruct and develop individuals in CQB Shooting, Long Range Engagements, Active Shooter and Hostage Rescue Operations.

BILL RAPIER

Bill Rapier is the owner and lead instructor of American Tactical Shooting Instruction LLC, also known as Amtac Shooting. He is the lead instructor of over 200 Amtac Shooting courses and has trained over 2500 students since 2020. Bill is retired after twenty years in the Navy, where his duty assignments included several years at SEAL Team 3 and over 14 years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Positions held include assaulter, breacher, sniper, team leader, troop chief, and military working dog department senior enlisted adviser. He has always been an avid shooter and is heavily involved in combatives.

COREY FELDMAN

Cory Feldman has worked in law enforcement for 23 years and is still actively working in law enforcement. Cory’s experience includes working in a jail setting managing inmates, Patrol Deputy, School Resource Officer, Training Deputy, and Property Crimes Detective.
Cory’s collateral duties consist of instruction in Tactical Team Operations, Active Shooter Response, Less Lethal Weapons, Distraction Devices, Chemical Munitions, Less Lethal Impact Munitions, Aerosol Projectors, Bombs and Explosives, EVOC, Firearms, Weapon Retention, and ARCON.
Cory was assigned to the ADA Metro SWAT Team as an explosive breacher and is currently assigned as a sniper with the Ada County SWAT TEAM.
