TACTICAL AR15

Course Description

This is a dynamic course and will focus on teaching the shooter the balance of speed and accuracy. Students will be shooting from stationary positions but will also shoot and move and shoot while moving.

Equipment List

  • Semi-auto carbine or AR-15 rifle with tactical sling (300 blk, 223, 308)
  • 3 Magazines (Minimum)
  • Magazine holder
  • Footwear suitable to outdoors and rapid movement and turning
  • Clothing suitable to training in any weather
  • Shooting gloves (Optional based on student comfort)
  • Knee and elbow pads (optional based on student comfort)
  • Wraparound eyewear with polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription
  • Electronic hearing protection, earmuffs or ear plugs

Prerequisites

This is an intermediate level class. Students must have a CCW permit and proof of said permit before being allowed to attend class.  This class is physically demanding, and students must be in good general overall health.  The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, marksmanship skills, and working from a holster.  Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

500 rounds rifle

Lead core ammunition to be used on steel only.

No green/brown tip, armor piercing, or steel core rounds to be used on steel at any time
